General Terms and Conditions – Flyboard Dreams
1. General
These general terms and conditions apply to all bookings, quotes and performances of shows by Flyboard Dreams, hereinafter referred to as the performer.
By booking a show the client agrees to these terms and conditions.
2. Safety
The safety of artists, audiences and bystanders always has the highest priority.
Flyboard Dreams reserves the right to cancel, interrupt, or modify a show in whole or in part when circumstances such as:
bad weather conditions (strong wind, thunderstorms, storms, etc.).
insufficient water depth or safety.
technical or logistical risks make the execution unsafe.
In this case, the show will be moved – if possible – in consultation with the client.
No refunds will be made for circumstances beyond the control of the performer.
3. Cancellation by the client
❌ Cancellation on the day of the event: the full agreed amount remains due.
⚠️ Cancellation up to 7 days before the event: 50% of the total amount will be charged.
📧 Cancellations must always be confirmed in writing or by email.
The operator reserves the right to charge for costs already incurred, regardless of the time of cancellation.
4. Liability
Flyboard Dreams is not liable for any damage, loss or injury (direct or indirect) that occurs during or as a result of the show, unless there is intent or gross negligence on the part of the performer.
The client is responsible for:
ensuring sufficient safety space around the performance.
informing the public and staff about safety instructions on and around the water.
compliance with local permits or regulations.
Any damage to property of the client or third parties is at the client's own risk.
5. Technical and logistical requirements
The client is responsible for:
a suitable location with sufficient water depth (at least 2 meters);
safe access for jet skis and equipment.
a demarcated zone free of public or boats on the water.
any required permits from the municipality or water boards.
Any deviations or restrictions must be reported to the contractor in advance.
6. Force Majeure
In the event of force majeure (such as extreme weather conditions, technical failures, illness, government measures or other unforeseen situations), Flyboard Dreams is entitled to change, move or cancel the agreement without being liable for compensation.
7. Payment
Payment must be made in accordance with the agreements on the quotation or invoice.
The show will only take place once payment has been made in full or as agreed.
8. Final provision
Dutch law applies to all agreements.
Any disputes will be submitted to the competent court in the district where Flyboard Dreams is established.
